Colloidal Silver Blue

People whe consume a lot of colloidal silver (a suspension of silver colloids in water) have a chance of turning blue or silver.  That’s what can happen when you put a lot of the wrong kind of silver particles in your body.

To be clear: colloidal silver is a suspension. A suspension is what you call a group of particles that are temporarily suspended in a liquid. “Temporarily” refers to a short period of time.  Thus, the particles can fall out of the liquid in a short period of time.  If the liquid in question happens to be inside a human body at the time, there is a chance that the silver particles will fall out of the liquid while inside the human body.  They may then accumulate within the body, causing a blue or silvery coloring of the skin.

Further, to be clear: not all silver products are a suspension. Silver sol, for instance, is a solution.  A solution and a suspension are not the same thing.
